Shabbat Dinner and Drinks

I was born in a family of 7 girls and 1 boy, raised by a Brazilian mom and a Persian dad. Food was kinda THE thing that brought us together. It was the thing we always needed, the thing that made us happy and the thing that allowed true connection to be created. 

Shabbat dinners were always our time to shine to help our mom cook. Whether it was a classic Jewish brisket, Persian choresh + taadig, or some Canjica, we were learning and loving our way through food.  

Till this day, in my own apartment in Tel Aviv, my love for cooking food, hosting shabbat dinners and community parties is very much a part of my life. I'm grateful for my rich culture and cooking history, so I can share it with my old and new friends!
